Mime Performance
Episodes is a solo pantomime piece created and performed by Sergey Chervyakov, a renowned mime artist from Kazakhstan. Known for his poetic and symbolic physical language, Chervyakov presents a series of non-verbal vignettes reflecting the life of an ordinary man navigating a world of routine, solitude, dreams, and frustrations.
Sergey Cherbyakov, a leading mime artist based in Almaty, Kazakhstan, is known for his solo pantomime piece Episodes and his dynamic presence in both theatre and street performance. He has been invited to major international festivals, including the Living Statue Festival in Arnhem (Netherlands), the Engibarov Pantomime Festival in Armenia, the Tabriz Street Arts Festival in Iran, and theme park stages at Yamay and Ocean Park in Taiwan. He has also conducted workshops and performances in Russia, Ukraine, and Switzerland. His subtle physical expression and improvisational storytelling—delivered entirely without words—have earned him praise as a “contemporary and deeply human performer.”

Episodes is a wordless solo performance that follows the quiet journey of an ordinary man through everyday moments of life — repetitive routines, conflict, loneliness, dreams, and disappointment. Without a single word, he speaks through subtle gestures and movements, revealing a deeply human story.
