· About the Performance
Circus
Letters may now feel slow and inconvenient, but their final function is love.
If you had to write a letter today, who would you write it to?
Most likely, it would be someone truly precious—like your family, a friend, or a loved one.
Sometimes, the people closest to us are the ones we struggle to speak our hearts to.
This performance was created to offer a moment to bring out those unspoken feelings.
We hope it gives the audience a chance to reflect on the question:
‘Who is the most precious person in my life?’
• Synopsis
When the mailbox fills up with letters and packages, the postman sets off on his deliveries.
He finds the addresses written on each envelope and delivers them one by one.
But soon, he realizes he cannot find the recipient of the very last package.
Out of curiosity, he opens the box and discovers… it’s empty.
Still, he doesn’t give up. He tries to find the owner by placing the box high up—where everyone can see.
Eventually, a small child appears.
And the postman realizes the package is meant for this child, and that it contains the child’s shoes.
To retrieve the box from its high perch, the postman stacks all the items he has and climbs precariously to reach it.
Will he be able to complete his final delivery safely?
And is there really a pair of shoes inside the box?
